A keepsake quilt, or memory quilt, is one way to keep a piece of your loved one with you all the time. It is always hard when someone you love passes away. It is also hard when someone you love and care about has a loss in their family as well. A keepsake blanket, made with the clothes that belonged to the loved one, is one way to always have that loved one close to you. You don't have to just have a t-shirt quilt made, you can have a beautiful patchwork quilt, made to your specifications. The memory keepsake quilts shown above were made clothes that loved ones once wore. There are pictures of a couple quilts made from the dresses my mother once wore. You can take your loved ones clothes, and they can be turned into a beautiful keepsake quilt, perfect to give as a gift for your loved ones, or keep for yourself. There is a picture of one of the dresses from my mother, that was turned into a lap throw, as a gift for my sister.
The way it works is you send me the shirts, dress, pants, whatever clothes you want to include. I will cut them up and create a custom designed quilt just for you out of the material you send me. If you want just a t-shirt pattern, or a custom patchwork quilt, it is your choice. I color coordinate the sashings, backgrounds, and borders with the colors or theme of the items sent, or if there is a favorite color then I go with that. You get a choice on the backing of soft minky, or a cotton print or solid, in your chosen color. I then create the quilt and send the finished product back to you. Each memorial quilt, or memory blanket is a unique OOAK quilt, made personally just for you. If you send clothing that I do not use, then I will return those items to you as well.
Your finished memory quilt will then be your keepsake, and remembrance of the loved one lost, or if ordered as a remembrance gift for someone else, they will have a permanent memory of their loved one. These keepsake quilts are also wonderful to make with baby clothes your young child once wore. They are the perfect size to just throw on your lap, or keep your legs warm on a cold day. Each quilt can have the comment shown above on the back, or one of your own saying if you wish. It doesn't have to say anything at all, it is all your choice.
The time it takes to make, depends on the items sent to be cut and sewn. Each quilt will have its own personality and no 2 quilts are alike. This is a wonderful way to remember loved ones, or to comfort someone after the passing of a loved one.

2. Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
d. Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
