One way to preserve precious memories, and loved ones clothes, or events, is with a keepsake quilt, or a memory quilt. Each keepsake quilt is custom made with your items. These could be made into T-sirt quilts, or what I call patterned quilts. Each of the quilts shown have been made from someones clothes, and will preserve the memories for many years to come. There really is no one way to make these keepsake quilts. Everything about each memory quilt is unique and geared towards what each person wants. They are wonderful ways to keep alive memories of loved ones, events, or just as a unique gift for that special person in your life. I have a saying that I can put on the backs of each personal quilt, or you can make one with your own wording if you like. This listing is for mainly the patterened keepsake quilts.
There really is no set pattern for these memory shirt quilts. You would send me the shirts or clothing items you want the quilt made of, and then through conversations we would create your own, OOAK, special memory quilt. You can choose to keep it simple, with a patchwork quilt, or maybe have one made in a heart or other pattern. This upcycled quilt would be made completely to what your specifications are. You get to choose the complimenting colors, if you want them, and the type of backing, minky or solid cotton. It is lightly quilted, so as not to distract from the pieces that are the main purpose of the quilt. These quilts, or blankets are not only unique in how they are made, but they are one of a kind. It is all your choices on what you want.
